cold comfort

for several days/weeks?: we have witnessed the untimely death of TV as weknowit: g our 2yr old toshiba screen morphed to an 11x4.25 viewable area. it's tolerable IF it remains that size upto the day a new and betta tv arrives. so we buy a tv from QVC.

after the QVC experience, we crave familiar waters and cozy food injections. cold soba with tamagoyaki or peanutbutter rice festooned with mint.
